1. Hemorrhoidectomy:  The hemorrhoid is removed by the use of a scalpel, cauterizing device or a laser.  This procedure can be performed at the doctors office.
2. Laser Coagulation:  This procedure requires small electric current be applied to the hemorrhoids.  The small electric current cuts off bloods supply to the hemorrhoids thereby “starving” the hemorrhoid of blood.  The hemorrhoids will decrease in size in swelling and will eventually disappear.
